The pastors of Tri-City Baptist Church have a wide variety of experience and education. This variety brings a richness to our ministry. Our pastors will post articles on topics near and dear to them. Every few days there will be a new article. Feel free to communicate with the author with any comments or questions. Part of Tri-City's mission is "to assist its members and other fundamental churches...in fulfilling the Great Commission." That is the purpose of this site. It is tied directly to our vision for our ministry. We trust it will be a blessing to you.

Dr. Michael D. Sproul - Senior Pastor
Dr. Michael Sproul has been the Senior Pastor at Tri-City Baptist Church since 1999. He is also the Wing Chaplain, Lt Col, of the 161st Air Refueling Wing in Phoenix, Arizona. He received a B.A. Degree in Pastoral Studies from International Baptist College, earned a Master of Divinity degree from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary, and returned to International Baptist College for his Doctor of Ministry degree. He and his wife Elma have two children, David (18) and Sara (16).

Todd Tjepkema - Executive Assistant
A graduate of International Baptist College, Todd Tjepkema has served as the Tri-City Baptist Church Counseling and Discipleship Pastor since 2002; he has served as Executive Assistant since 2006. He and his wife Barbara have four children: Geoffrey (17), Timothy (15), Emily (12), and Robert (8).

David Stertzbach II - Music Pastor
David Stertzbach graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.A. in Church Music and has received his Master of Music degree. In 2005 he became the Music Pastor at Tri-City Baptist Church. Dave and his wife Becky have two children: Laura (8) and Davy (6).

Bryan Miller - Children's Pastor
Bryan Miller graduated from International Baptist College in 1995 with a B.A. in Pastoral Studies, then accepted an internship on the pastoral staff at Tri-City specializing in small group ministries. In 1996 Bryan became the Children's Pastor. Bryan and his wife Debbie have 3 children: Erin (11), Emily (8) and Andrew (6).

Mark Maxwell - Youth Pastor
A graduate of Bob Jones University, Mark Maxwell has 17 years of Christian education experience. He has served as Youth Pastor at Tri-City Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona, since the summer of 2004. He and his wife Ali have three sons, Mike (20), Jeff (18) and Tim (16).

David Brock - College President
David Brock received a Bachelor's degree from Bob Jones University and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as the College Pastor at Tri-City Baptist Church since 2000. He and his wife Tiffany live in Chandler, Arizona.

Jim Sproul - Senior Adults Pastor
James Sproul received a B.A. in Bible from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College and a B.D. from San Francisco Baptist Theological Seminary. He had 31 years of experience as an assistant pastor before coming to Tri-City Baptist Church in 2003. He and his wife Kaylyn have two daughters and six grandchildren.
