Dear Dr. Huffman and Pillsbury family,

I was greatly saddened to hear of the difficult decision made this month. Through the years I have grown to a greater appreciation for Pillsbury as I have sent off students from our college group here at Tri-City Baptist Church and as I have worked with your graduates in our church and on our staff here at International Baptist College. Through these people I have seen the hand of God upon Pillsbury and the lives which it has influenced. Thank you for your faithful ministry throughout these years as that faithfulness will continue to be felt for years to come not only in our ministry but also throughout the world.

During this great time of difficulty, we want you to know that we desire to support your college family in any way possible. This school year we offered to all incoming freshmen a 50% off room and board scholarship during their first year. Although this scholarship was not originally available to transfer students, I would like to extend that same scholarship to any student who transfers to IBC this next semester. Due to the size and scope of our institution, I believe that many of the Pillsbury family would fit right in with ours. As I know that many other sister institutions are doing, we will do everything we can to facilitate the transferability of credits and to help seniors graduate this year.

As our Senior Pastor Dr. Mike Sproul says, "God is on the throne and Satan doesn’t like it." I know that as the Lord providentially led the administration and board to this decision, He will providentially lead the college family during this time. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do to help during this time of transition.
